The Semana Nautica Association looks forward to Thursday, August 10th when the honorees from the 2023 summer sports festival will be recognized at a special ceremony. All are welcome to join us at East Beach during Reef & Run’s regular Thursday-evening event to recognize the outstanding performances.
This year’s festival awardees include Athlete of the Year Caitlin Swalec and Ocean Swimmers of the Year John Bish and Alina King. The Jeff Farrell Award, which recognizes those that support and embody the spirit of Semana Nautica and who have made significant contributions to the community, will be given to the Roth Family.
The awards ceremony will take place around 7:30 p.m. during Reef & Run’s post-race beach party in front of the Cabrillo Pavilion.
