Semana Nautica 2026 begins July 4th
Get ready for fireworks when Santa Barbara’s Semana Nautica Summer Sports Festival gets started in 2026.
This year’s events begin on Saturday, July 4th and continue through Sunday, July 19th.
The 87th Semana Nautica carries on a Santa Barbara athletic tradition that features an event lineup of ocean-swimming races, a men’s and women’s pro beach volleyball tournament, lifeguarding competitions, the 4th of July run, and more.
A festival event schedule will be released very soon with details about each competition.

Athletes should check with individual events about how to register and compete.
For those not competing, one of the great things about Semana Nautica is that all events are free for fans and spectators.
